I know you enter your VIN in GMVIS - does it tell you the software that is in YOUR car, or the latest software updates that should be in your car?

GMVIS will not tell you calibrations or software numbers. It will only tell you warranty, build, purchase date and location, xm radio # and if onstar is subscribed. it will also tell us if your warranty is blocked or a branded title.
