Default According to R&T...

The June 08 R&T article says just slip the shifter over to the right for sport mode, foot brake to 1100 rpm, foot off brake and floor it on the last yellow. FWIW, Scott

If the car goes through the traps in 4th gear you lose about .2 . The trick is to race in sport mode and once you hit 80mph in 3rd gear tap the shifter so it stays in M3. Some cars without a tune will hit the rev limiter as there setting are not adjusted for a higher shift point/rev limiter.

and also when you are in the burn out stage. do not do a full burnout. if you are useing the stock radials, then you will need only to make 1 or 2 rotations on the tires. the compound they use will get real slick if you do a good burnout. just a good clean is all you need. hope this helps....
