Default 08 and 09 differences

K so I am looking into gettin into a g8gt very very soon (in a Trailblazer SS now)...I have done some searching but not found many answers but I wanna know what differences if any are there between the 08 and 09's being that the 09's are 2 grand more. I believe no digital display over the radio anymore which is fine by me...kinda thought that was very random and a waste of space...any info would help!!!
And fyi I was told this wed untill 9/2 my local dealer is doin gm employee pricing on all 08's so i might try and use that to my advantage btu I really did want that new bright blue...but they have a white with black/red interior I would go for...sorry for rambling

I looked at a 2009 recently and compared it to my 2008. Other than the "Atari Display" changing to the "Gaping Hole" in the upper dash, I noticed that the center console from the radio to the window switches is a very dark metallic color vs flat black. This is very subtle and hard to tell unless you compare the two models. There is a satin silver trim around the HVAC controls. And the two teering wheel buttons are a different color. That's all I could see. Exterior was identical. Mechanically, I haven't heard of any changes.

I can't believe they left a gaping hole in the center where the atari displays were. I would so much rather have the displays there... I guess the 09's make for it with the XM

Also, you can get bluetooth in '09's. If you want that and go for an '08 I read where another member posted that you can purchase the bluetooth, which is plug and play) from the aussie's for around $560. Just FYI.

XM, Bluetooth down the road, running changes of 100 rating rather than 96 on 18" allseasons, map pockets on back of cloth seats, minor trim inside, $1365 higher GT price.
