For what it is worth, both are apparently built off the same base platform.
If the Challenger is anything to go by, there will be quite a $premium$ on the Camaro after it launches for at least several months.

Nice! I'd be more than happy with either car, but having kids makes the choice easy

Having owned 3 Z-28's in my time, there can be no substitute. although, a 6 liter sure can make the offer tempting.
Have your uncle hook us G8 owners up! I would trade my G8 in for a camaro in a heartbeat.....2 door American sports car is back and i want to be in one!
Have your uncle buy back my g8 so i can buy the new camaro....but then again, the dealers will probably inflate the camaros base price by at least 20%, if not more. Don't really feel like spending 50K, would rather buy a corvette than....

Nice web page, too much work to navigate though. I'm lazy. Tell your uncle I'm ready to trade my G8. What's he offering?

You are gonna have to wait longer than you want. The first Camaro's will only be available with V-6s. Not sure which configuration but V-8s are 6-8 months out and Converts. are 2010 models.

Theres your anwser....G8GT. I had an 06 GT Stang and had to get rid of it cuz of the my 2 boys. The G8 has been great, lots of pwr and 4 doors and the handling is perfect. I bet the Camero can't ride and handle like this G8.
