It was a fun car for the while, but now I need a change. Anyone interested?

I think you might find interest if you're willing to take the big loss that comes with going from new to used.

Don't rain too hard on his parade, but average depreciation on day one of ownership is about 20%, and there is zero intrinsic value in a 888, therefore asking price ought to be about $25k-$26k.

Not trying to poke sticks at ya, but you just had an expensive joyride. Your not going to be able to sell the car for what you paid for it. I'm with CP, around $25k-26K

Just out of curiosity, what would you replace it with? Another new car, or a used car? I am not trying to get personal, but is there any single item driving your decision?
I experienced a lot of remorse after trading in my 2006 Charge Daytona. But each day brings more new and positive reinforcements that I made the right decision with the G8. It has been a long time since I have seen so many positive responses from critical car magazines, for a car like this.
Of course they were all gaga for the Chevy Citation too, and that turned out to be a bust....
Good luck with whatever you decide....

Referring no doubt to auto-removal front axle shafts. Why these same pieces never bothered Fieros is beyond me (Fiero rear end basically Citation front, turned around)

People that buy a new car just to get better mpg are making a bad financial decision.
Let's save you save $10 worth of gas per week with a better fuel economy car. How long does it take to make up the difference in the money spent for a new car, especially in a situation like there where he is likely to lose thousands?
Say he lost $5000 and gained $10 per week in gas. It's going to take over 9 years to break even.

Don't forget the Fiero had a 'vette front end. Chevette, but a 'vette front end none the less.

My first car was a 1981 Chevrolate Citation X11. The steering had an odd kink in it because of a basic engineering mistake, and you had to slam the doors to shut them, and the ride quality was awful, but I really enjoyed driving that car.
On the Charger vs. the G8, have you posted a comparison here somewhere?

The Citation was a good overall package, but had a lot of quality and recall issues that eventually killed it in the marketplace.
