Question No GT Designation in 2009???

This might be a typo, but when doing a little digging around I found the following for 2009. I can also find other places that contradict it, but that would be interesting wouldn't it?

2EC69: G8:BASE
2EP69: G8:GXP
2ER69: G8 SEDAN

If we are going to believe dealerworld that Bt is not yet ready for prime time then we also have to believe the following from same source

2ER69 = G8 Sedan
2EC69 = G8 GT Sedan

You could send a correction through email to that site techies, but don;t hold your breath. I'm still waiting on even an acknowledgement from pontiac.com that the locator only searches for base and even explained how to fix it.

They will have it fixed as soon as all the '08 GTs have been purchased.

Yeah that sucked. It made shopping for my GT quite a bit more difficult than it needed to be.

Good to see that someone at GM might be on top of such things.

I dig around many manufacturer websites for information. Plenty of errors to go around. And when I call them to try to sort things out, no one seems to have a clue. I get incorrect information over the phone more often than correct information.

The only way to ever be sure: look at actual cars.
