Dealer got my G8 GT in Friday..
The dealer got my G8 GT in Friday, if any of you remember I was trying so hard to get a orange one with no luck. They have 3 GT's and I have a red one tagged with a sun roof no sports package, the have a red with a sports package but I prefer the sun roof over the wheels, going with some 20's any way. They have a Grey one as well and I like that one a lot so I don't know which one im going to get tomorrow or at least by mid week, still looking for a orange GT here in MI so if I cant locate one by Wensday im going to make a decision on with GT to buy.

Good luck getting the orange. I am loving this color very much and picked it out without even seeing the color in person. It was a risk but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Hey, don't give it up on Orange. Just be patient and wait for a while. I saw Orange G8GT at Pitre NM in Albuquerque and it looked awesome.

There is a orange one in our town that we drove. The wife hates the color.

The only thing wrong with the red is that it will be very common. Most of those I've seen have been red.
The orange will be rare, especially since it won't be available after 2008MY.
I understand not wanting to screw your salesguy, I wouldn't want to either. But part of his job is getting you the car you want.
Sounds like your dealer hasn't established very good relationships with other dealers if they don't want to trade.

No thats not it at all, the orange GT is hard to come by and they know it so the wouldnt trade the cars. Both dealers that had the orange GTs were trying to sell for 2k to 5k over sticker. im a realist, I know its a sweet car but it like any other car wont be work jack in a couple of years. So as a buyer and not a leaser im gonna mod this thing out and have some fun with it, there was no way i was gonna pay extra for a car thats in mass production...

Wow!!! By reading these blogs I must have gotten lucky. I went to the dealership by me and picked up the orange G8GT. It was the only one left and no body wanted it. I feel better knowing it's a hard to get color!!!!

The two dealers that have the GT's by me have 3 oranges on the lot and they are going for cheaper than the other colors. Must be area dependent.
