Default Lease payments

OK, I am paying 547/month for a 39 month lease and 15,000 miles a year. I saw that one of you said that you think I'm paying too much for my lease...But I went to like 2 or 3 other dealers and they all gave me about the same rate. This is a gt w/ the premium and sports package w/ every option you can think of. So I'm thinking thats why it might be so much. Can anyone share how much they are leasing theirs for? Thanks a lot! Also, I live in Michigan so I'm wondering if that has anything to do w/ it.

Well if it makes you feel better, I'm looking at the same car you have and was quoted low 600's (forgot the exact number - $610 I think). It was 36 months instead of 39, but overall it sounds like you got a good deal.

Now I have never leased before.......do dealers negotiate on a lease like they do on a sale?

What did they set the residual value to?

It sounds high to me, but I don't know much about leases. I know that Mercedes Benz has some killer lease deals every once in a while. Couldn't you lease an E350 (~$50k) for around $600/month around Christmas last year?

Lincoln has a deal too for $600 or so for the Navigator. Probably not for 15k per year, but still a nice looking deal.
Residual for the G8 is 49%.
