Tinted windows???

Just wondering if the windows are tinted on the g8 gt?? The one that I ordered, it says it has tinted glass as one of the options on it...Of the g8 gt's i've seen that people have posted so far...none of the glass seems to be tinted...or maybe I just can't see well.. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks!

Factory tint on cars is usually pretty weak...

mine was not tinted at all. I was back at the dealer the next day having tint added lol

can you do that on a lease?? Mine's a lease so I'm not sure if I'll be able to or not. I also want to order the black and shift lever cover but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that for the same reason.

Depends on the dealer, Cadillac told me just to leave the tint on when I turn it in.

My Cadillac STS had a factory tint (and still does), but it's the glass. I had the window tinter tint right over it. That's what I'd do because there is no film and you can't tell the windows are tinted.

so i called a few window tint shops today, and they told me that to have all but my front windshied tinted on my G8 would run me around $220 to $270. i never knew that it was that expensive. this is in San Diego California.. anyone know of anyplace cheaper in sothern cali for the rear 7 windows?

We went 25% all the way around. It really cools it off when the sun is shinning. A good customer of mine has a 10 second GTO and runs a tint shop. If anyone needs a fantastic tint job in the charlotte area let me know and I'll hook you up with him.

Hey we are right next to Mooresville Dragway! its about 25 minutes from charlotte. You ought to call Custom Dave's tinting. Its on 150/152. He has done all of our work. Hes a gear head too.. his 04 GTO runs a 6.70 at 106mph

just got mine done not more than an hour ago literally...

30% in the front, and 20% in the back. even tho i know its illegal in Cali. to tint your front window i did. it would look stupid without them done.

I said the lacks tint was 15%, its 18% to be exact. I asked for 15, they said they use the same tint on 15, and 20 - both 18%
