Oh, snap! That's great, that's what happens when you get traction. Most of the Mag test have the car trapping at 104 or so, but they cant seem to launch a car and get the crazy 13.8 times. And then dropping almost .4 on time and picking up 3 MPH with just a tune is great. I thought nitrous would do well in these also, but a full second with a 100 shot is better then I thought it would do. To bad I'm always afraid to use nitrous. Nitrous is like a hot girl with STD's, as fun as it "might" be, I'm to afraid of the concequences.

What did you have done when you ran the 13.39?

What is flow benching? Is the cat back a custom thing as well?
Sorry for all the questions. I just got mine and I am trying to learn as much as possible.

Well, I have an amendment to that...Black is the quickest, but Silver is the fastest. At least judging by my GTPs...black trapped 12.107@118.09, Silver at 12.179@120.15, both at Bandimere in Denver, figure low to mid 11's at sea level...with equivalent setups (hell, mostly the same parts as black melted the front end after a fuel line break, and salvageable parts were swapped). Lots and lots of mods, biggest of which for the track would have to be the 200hp shot. Mod for mod my eventual G8 will smoke the GTPs. Which I am looking forward to

Those are some great numbers... btw that pewter C5 looks like it hooks really nice.... How do these cars run such good times with only 361hp and they weigh in at a little over 4k lbs... they must be underated from the factory.

I am kinda wondering what is going on as well. The track times are VERY impressive. The dyno #'s have been very poor imo. From just looking at dyno's I would say that Pontiac overrated the G8. That or the drivetrain in this thing is the most inefficient thing ever made.

what are they putting down on the dyno.... and you have to keep in mind that it all depends on the type of dyno you put the car on as well, because some dynos read more while others will read less.

nice times ...
i think low 13s will be fairly common in ideal conditions from the GT.
GXP should be easy in the 12's with the ls3

Nope Exhaust and headers are from a very big company and will be available to purchase 3-5 weeks if I had to guess . Also have a quiet [ My choice] and loud option .
