Default Regional Forums - Please chime in!

You guys speak; I listen. This is your suggestion at work.

It's time to start adding local forums for you guys and your friends. Adding them takes no time at all, but I need to know which areas are needed. I could add a forum for each state, but I think we'd end up with a bunch of empty forums.

Post here if you're interested in having your area/state added, and be sure to specify where you are located.

I would say that for now, until the site grows larger, regions would be fine. Like the Southeast section would include Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, S. Carolina, etc. As it grows, then you can see about expanding...

That's what I'm leaning toward.

I would have to agree. I think regional forums would be a good starting point. Then if you get a large number of members from one State you can add their own forum later.

Something like: West, East, Midwest, Southeast, etc.

It seems like regional forums are the way to go.

I'll use this map for the continental US, except maybe I'll combine Pacific and Rocky Mountain into one "Western States" forum.

Done

Nothing is set in stone though, so feel free to make suggestions.

Nick, I think that you're on the right track. If we here in "southern" Pa ever get to see a live, non-car show G8, I'll be the first to post the sighting. It was almost a full year before we ever saw a GTO back during the botched re-introduction on '04. Let's hope that our friends at Pontiac are approaching this one more intelligently!

Good job on getting this site up and working fine. Looks great!

Makes you feel bad for those members in the "Noncontiguous" states.

I figured I'd wait for them to complain before I added those forums.

Likewise, I'm sure we have a few Aussie members. Hell, my one moderator is in Oz.

Makes sense. Plus, they look like they may be the last ones to get a G8.

None headed to HI or AK yet.

Nick, I like your idea of combining Rocky mountain states with west coast. The cars will be sparse in the mountains to start, and you can always split them off if it grows. Other than that it's a good starting point.
