My G8 GT Tagged Today
Last night there were 32 Magnetic Gray Mettalic, Loaded G8 GTs with Onyx Interiors available. By 10:30 am this morning there were only 6 left. So Dad tagged one for me. So I am guessing I will see it sometime in May or June. By 1pm they were gone.

looks like my dealer was invoiced today for my G8 GT, so I'm hoping that it will be here in about a week. Does anyone have their G8 GT yet?

I got a Panther black non-888 G8 GT. Its not in yet though, but they said it is on the truck. So hopefully 5 business days. But that's what the dealer said, and they really haven't know much from the start, so who really knows.
Unrelated question: anyone know what octane gas the G8 GT takes? I would assume 89?

Supposed to be 87!!! That's what all the specs I've read indicate....which after bucking up for premium for my last two cars would be a nice savings.
This is always one thing that baffles me....it's next to impossible to find even a semi-performance car that calls for anything under 91.

It is engineered to run on 87. EPA test were done with premium. It does need top tier gas so make sure the 87 you buy complies. Most 87 I've ever bought works like crap in any vehicle so just be aware that despite what the suppliers or gov't might say, 87 is dirtier and harder to burn than 89. And it depends on where you live and your style of driving whether 87 will or will not produce knock in your engine. The knock sensors and ecm can only compensate within the software mapping.

GM finally updated their website to include the G8 within the actual Pontiac site. Has some more information on the car, but nothing people in this forum don't already know:
Pontiac G8 | First Ever Pontiac G8: Available Early 2008
